Here's what Donna had to say about her day!!
The first thing I remember seeing was Terri sitting at her registration table, with a big welcoming smile on her face, despite the early hour and the chilly air. From that point on, it was one smiling face after another. I enjoyed seeing old friends and meeting new ones, and being surprised when the picture of someone I had imagined in my head was not at all like the “real thing”.
Things that really stand out in my mind of last year’s events were Art’s shrink wrap demo – it was so good that I bought his demo model , Veronica’s expert bath bomb demo, Kim’s reed diffuser demo, and John from the Scent Shack’s soap mold. All of these demos were just as good, if not better, than the ones I just saw at the Soap Guild conference.
Karen was just a fabulous coordinator, and had our whole day perfectly organized. The only problem was that the day seemed to just fly by, giving proof to the saying that time really does fly when you’re having fun. I also loved our goodie bags that Diane put together. I am really hoping I can make this year’s gathering. I mean, I am the official photographer, right? I gotta be there!
